Donating

Anyone may drop off donations at the shop, Suite 150 in the Manhattan Town Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1 and 6 p.m., November 12 through December 19. 

Please use the back door in Service Area A at the corner of Humboldt Street and Third Street.  Ring the doorbell next to the Toys for Manhattan sign.

For large donations, please call 785-313-2013 to schedule an appropriate time.

Collection Partners


Any business, organization, club, or group may do their own collection. If you have a large collection to deliver, please call to make arrangements.

Not accepting: household items, furniture, televisions, or summer clothing.

Frequently asked questions

Can I donate money?

Monetary donations are always appreciated.  We use the money to buy new toys as well as batteries, packaging, tape, and cleaning supplies.

When is the best time to donate?

The best time is as soon as the shop opens for the season -- November 12 for this year.  We have limited storage facilities, but can accept donations year-round.

When is the worst time to donate?

The worst time is just before Christmas.  Donations during the last two weeks before Christmas likely won't have time to be cleaned, packaged, and distributed this season.

Can I get a receipt for tax deduction purposes?

Yes, just ask at the shop when you drop off the donation.
