2011 Christmas season
Toys for Manhattan accepts new and experienced toys and gifts for distribution to underprivileged families as Christmas presents for their families. This year the shop is located at 8711 E Hwy 24 (the old Rambler’s Steakhouse).
Anyone can drop off donations at the shop on Tuesday and Thursday evenings through December 15 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. There are drop sites in the city for daytime hours as well:
- Riley County Police Dept, 1001 S Seth Child Road
- McCullough Development, 210 N 4th Street
- Manhattan Fire Dept, 2000 Denison Ave
- Orscheln Farm and Home Supply, 530 McCall Rd
- O’Reilly Auto Parts, 700 Ft. Riley Blvd
All have convenient curbside parking for drop off.
The distribution season is Saturdays, December 3, 10, and 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and goes to those who otherwise may go without this Christmas season. You are providing a brighter holiday for less fortunate families in our community.
Businesses holding special events during the Christmas season to benefit Toys for Manhattan include Manhattan Energy-Pool & Spa, 528 Pillsbury Drive. Check out their store for details.

Toys for Manhattan accepts new and experienced toys and gifts for
distribution to underprivileged families as Christmas presents for their
families. This year the shop is located at 1200 Kretschmer Dr, the GTM
Warehouse, off McCall Rd & HWY 24. Anyone can drop off donations at the
shop on Tuesday and Thursday evenings thru December 17 between 5 pm and
8 pm. There are four drop sites in the city for daytime hours as well:
Riley County Police Department, 1001 S Seth Child Road, McCullough
Development, 210 N 4th St, Dick Edwards Hyundai & Imports, 5040 Ft Riley
Blvd and O’Reilly Auto Parts, 700 Ft Riley Blvd. All have convenient
